Banner for "FacetsJewelry", Part 3

I received some gorgeous jewelry from Karen today and am so impressed with her craftsmanship!!! I'll post pics as soon as I'm able. :)

Karen wanted to see the banner without the sparklies in the background, and with three different sizes of diamonds between the F and a in Facets.

Animated Banner for "Sweetie Bird Fashions"

I worked with Sarah before to design her Hyena Cart shop and had a fantastic time! Here is her new 150x50px animated banner. :)

Mock-ups for "Ruby Rocket's Diaper Co."

Jessica liked the first lady, font, rocket, and star background. She wanted the diapers to all be white, and the main background starry to match the header.

Here are a few different mock-ups. Any of the colors for header, background, border, text, etc. can be changed. :)

Vendor Headers for "Avant-Garde" Congo

I worked with Meaghan to design the "Avant-Garde" Congo and she wanted a couple new headers made for their Guest spots.

Mock-ups for "Ruby Rocket's Diaper Co." Header

I'm working with Jessica to design her new Hyena Cart shop and having such a fun time!

Jessica's idea was, "a VERY retro feel, bright red, white...I am hoping for a 50's (ish) woman sitting on a rocket with a line of diapers flying behind. I know this is elaborate, I am not sure if it is even do-able. But this is a general idea of what I am looking for."

I looked through hundreds of different fifties women and found a couple that I just love for this project! I also enjoyed finding a rocket that looks perfect for Jessica's look, creating the fitted cloth diapers, "clothesline", clothespins, and starry sky background to match.

So far I think it's coming together very nicely!

Mock-up 1:
- 1st retro font
- white end diaper
- red rocket with white border to match shop name border
- 50s lady with hand up

Mock-up 2:
- 2nd retro font
- yellow end diaper
- red rocket with black border
- 50s lady looking at shop name

Fonts, colors, images, backgrounds, etc. can all be changed. :)

Banner for "Facets Jewelry"

Karen described her ideas for the banner as such, "Faded beach with a few light sparkles in the water. Shades of blue, light sand color and sky blue and maybe whitish cloud color."

I'm really enjoying working with Karen on the banner! Beach scenes are so calming and beautiful.

Here are a few different mock-ups based on the beach theme. Fonts, colors, and text "special effects" can all be changed. I can also add a border around the outside to help the banner stand out a bit more.

Animated Banners for "Creative Mamas" - August '09

Christina J. wanted animated banners for the "Creative Mamas" congo..."Something cute and eye catching to wrap up summer".

I had a lot of fun designing these! I love the chalkboard and the writing that looks like a teacher's chalkboard handwriting (I always wished I could write that neatly on a chalkboard!)

Busy on the Homefront :)

Life has been busy for the past couple of weeks. :)

July 4th - We enjoyed celebrating with our extended family and watching the fireworks.

July 6th - Celebrated our youngest son's birthday with a "Speed Racer"-themed party. :)

July 6th - We had to give away our sweet dog Ellie and we're still missing her like crazy (though not missing the destruction she's been causing to our house - sigh. Lots of cleanup and hundreds of dollars worth of repairs to make. Thankfully she went to a wonderful family who is taking great care of her).

July 8th - Enjoyed our eldest son's Capoeira class.

July 9th - Cub Scout committee meeting and Roundtable.

July 10th - DH and I taught a Dutch Oven cooking class. :)

July 11th - Enjoyed our eldest son's Capoeira roda; he's so fun to watch! He really enjoys the songs, martial arts moves, ginga, cartwheels, and etc.

July 12th - Went to my parent's Church for my sister Tiffany's mission farewell. She's going on a mission to Moscow, Russia (we're members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) for 18 months! We're so excited for her and very proud of her.

July 13th - Recorded some songs with my sisters from our Christmas concert. The recording went really well and we were surprised and happy to realize how much we remember from December. :) My sisters and I have a singing group "Galesong" that we started, although it will be somewhat on hold for awhile when Tiffany goes to Russia - teehee!

And tonight we're excited to go do Scouts and then see the new "Harry Potter" movie!

I had previously worked with Andrea to design her shop header in exchange for some cute diapers. :) Andrea wanted a matching background and here are a couple of ideas!

First has a white background and is a little bit smaller; second has a light blue background and is a little bit bigger.

Mock-up for "Hippie Made" Hope for Haiti Stocking

Katherine is going to Haiti next month on a mission. She's doing a special charity stocking on her Hyena Cart, with the proceeds going towards items for the children with whom she'll be working.

She asked if I would donate a Hyena Cart template for her special stocking and I am happy to do so!
