Mindy was looking for a Hyena Cart design with black branches coming from the sides, crows sitting on branches and lighting onto them, and her shop name in a currant red.
Here's the first mock-up. I imagine that the baby crow on the right is Henry waiting for his mama to bring him some food...the crow flying on the top left is daddy off to find more food for the family, and of course little Vivien and Finn (who baby Henry resembles).

Animated Banners for "Leave You In Stitches"
Katie wanted both of her animated banners to have a picture on the right, fading into the left, and moving text on the left. The first showcases her darling owls skirt; second is a Christmas banner. :)
I couldn't decide if I liked her logo behind the name in the first one or not, so there are a couple to choose from!

Mock-ups for "Thornbush Pens"
I'm so excited to be working with the very talented Elizabeth from Thornbush Pens (also the owner of Pianissimo Cloth!)
Elizabeth wanted an Etsy banner with her background and shop name on the left, and a pic of one of her pens on a green or brown plain background on the right with her tag-line.
Here are a few different ideas. Click image to view larger:

How to Get Pregnant Using a CD Stash (Silly Story w/ Pics)
We had our first pre-natal exam this week and saw our sweet little one at 12 weeks! Everything is looking good so far and I'm finally starting to feel a bit better (not as much all-day morning-sickness)
In honor of the occasion I wrote up this silly story. Enjoy!
1 - TTC for 1.5 years.
2 - Pray. A lot. Know that somehow everything will turn out ok.
3 - Enjoy Playgroup with your best friend (who is pregnant)
Lesley on left; me on right - at the zoo with our kids
4 - Throw a baby shower for your best friend!
Totoro-themed with characters, acorn cake, and little rose washcloth shower favors. Lesley made the adorable Totoro characters. :)
5 - Gift the majority of your diaper stash to your best friend.
Over 120 diapers, prefolds, covers, doublers, wetbags, etc.
6 - TTC for a couple more months
7 - POAS....
Wahoo indeed!
8 - Start making another cloth diaper stash :)
Live happily ever after with cloth-diapered tushies in the house. :)
**Note: Lesley was very reluctant to take our cloth diapers but I knew she'd use them and was happy they'd be useful rather than sitting in a dark closet.
And look how sweet her newest little girl is!

Thanks for a Wonderful HC$ Day!
Today was HC$ Day, where customers could spend their hard-earned Hyena Cart money to buy beautiful items. I enjoyed all of the excitement, spent some of my HC$, and sold items to some wonderful customers!
My favorite purchase was by Katie, who just started her shop on Hyena Cart and was looking for a custom design. I'd posted my "Pretty in Pink Flowers" pre-made template and it was perfect for her!
Before and After screenshots of Katie's Hyena Cart (click image to view larger):
Katie, thanks for being so fantastic to work with! I hope you love your new design as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Mock-up for "Tessa Ann", Part II
Tessa Ann loved the first mock-up. :) I changed her tag-line a little bit and added in some shadows to help her shop name and little bird "pop".

Mock-ups for "Tessa Ann"
Tessa Ann creates the most beautiful buttons and I'm so excited to be working on updating her Hyena Cart design with her.
She wanted labels for her top navigation bar, buttons or her bird incorporated into her left navigation bar, scalloped edges for the table borders, and the colors aqua, red, white, and medium-toned pink.
We started out using her darling logo and I thought for her Hyena Cart it would be nice to have a larger header. I redesigned the header to match closely to her original, but with sharper images. I tried a couple of different backgrounds; one plain white and one with light blue dots to match her header.
Let me know what you think! Click image to view larger:

Animated Banners for "Creative Mamas" - Autumn
We're doing an autumn theme at Creative Mamas.
I imagined a tree with lots of pretty autumn leaves and am really pleased with how these animated banners turned out:

Diaper Testers for "Busy Bums"
Jerrica is making a new diaper pattern and I'm excited that I was able to test it out!
Note: This post is very picture heavy. :)
I tested the NB and Small front aplix patterns. I decided to do 2 other patterns at the same time for comparison's sake, and naturally forgot to add a seam allowance for the Busy Bum pattern. Ack!
So I made a 3rd Busy Bum and added seam allowance to that one. Sorry about that. I must say on the first NB one without adding in seam allowance it makes for a really, really tiny, adorable diaper! LOL.
Specs are the same for all diapers:
Outer - Fun knit
Hidden - Stretch terry
Inner - Bamboo fleece
Tri-fold soaker with 1 layer microfiber; 1 layer Bamboo fleece. *In my hurry to get these done I forgot to account for the amount of stretch the diapers would have in the rise. I'll be re-making the soakers so they're longer - teehee.
I took the waist and thigh measurements of my son's bear and discovered he's exactly the size of an average newborn (waist: 16", thigh: 7"), so "Cosmo" is our model for today. We'll have an actual model in about 6 months. :)

All 5 diapers next to a 7" ruler.
From L-R: Busy Bum Small (*forgot to add seam allowance), Darling Diaper Newborn Small, Busy Bum Newborn, Goodness Gracious Newborn, Busy Bum Newborn (*forgot to add seam allowance).
3 BB diapers on top (Small w/o seam allowance, Newborn, Newborn w/o seam allowance); 2 bottom are DD and GG:
Backs of diapers:
Insides (some of the microfiber towels were green; others yellow - makes for some with a strange hue in the pics!)

Jerrica, thanks again for letting me test the pattern! It was a lot of fun and the diapers turned out really cute.

Print Ad Design for "Family Tree Glass"
Brooke is having an ad placed in a popular magazine. She sent me the link to the image to use, text to include, colors she liked, and size requirements.
Here are a couple of different mock-ups! Fonts, colors, layout, and etc., can all be changed. We can also add special effects to the fonts if desired. Click image to view larger:
